Aluminum Pillar Bedding Stock with ends machined on an Angle to fit
Weatherby Vanguard
Two 4" long pieces
of 3/8" OD X .260 ID 6061 T-6 aluminum pillar bedding stock.
By leaving angled ends intact, and parting off in the middle, you will have 4 custom length pillars, each with one end square
to match the flat bottom of the receiver, with the other end on the correct angle to match the trigger guard. These
4 pillars will bed 2 rifles.

Picture #1 is of a Weatherby Vanguard barreled action, and just below it are two 3/8" Diameter
X 4" Long aluminum pillars, just as you receive them.
| Picture #2 | |
Picture #2 is of the front pillar after it has been cut to length and temporarily installed on the action. Note that the angled end of the pillar is facing down and in contact with the front of the trigger guard assembly.
| Picture #3 | | Picture
#3 is of the rear pillar after it has been cut to length and temporarily installed on the action. Once again the angled
end of the pillar is facing down to be in contact with the rear of the trigger guard assembly. Just as with
the remington M-700, when the pillar bedding job is complete, the magazine box must have some freedom to move up and down
between the receiver and the trigger guard assembly.
| Picture #4 | |
Witness Marks (center punch marks) are placed near each end of each pillar. By facing these witness
marks forward during assembly, the angled lower end of each pillar will be facing in the correct direction to match
the trigger guard angle.
No liability is expressed or implied for damage or injury which may result from the improper installation or use of this
product.
